Happy hiding

Right now I want to hide
Flee to somewhere safe or cease to exist
I myself am fine
The problem is that my world's in crisis

I need to find safety
When out in the world there's only noise
It's called a celebration
Except no one will listen to my voice

Can I just hibernate?
For as long as the world goes boom?
It will pass
Yes, it'll all be over very soon

Just a few more hours
Then this year will have gone by
Once the night is over
I can reappear and come say hi
