Because it wants to grow
Develop into something more

I give it some attention
Research what it needs
Pictures, photos and drawings
Aware that's how it feeds
Curious what it's got in store

Eventually a message
To an artist of my choice
Talking through the details
Giving the idea a voice
It's gonna get its way

Finally the day arrives
Needle going in and out
Though I can hardly notice
Because the only thing that counts
The idea now here to stay
